| {Lens Baby: Frisco's Central Park} You would never guess that this girl woke up on the wrong side of the crib. She was clingy and tearful this morning, but once we got outside, she livened up, and the real Kate was back! Here are a few others... Can you tell she liked standing on this bench? |

| {on the run} We went to a Lens Baby event today where the moms took turns taking pictures for the other moms with their kids. (We're not usually in any photos because we're always behind the camera!) While I was taking pictures, I kept Kate in her stroller with a snack. She was happy as a clam, thankfully! But when I finally let her out, she immediately made a run for it. The meadow was calling her name! |

| {one decade} Today is the anniversary of my first date with Nick. He's been my sweetheart for ten years! This picture was taken in May of '02, about 1 year after we started dating. I'm sure I could dig out some that were taken earlier, but this one was handy on my nightstand. I took a picture of the picture with my iPhone (Hipstamatic app). Is that project 365 cheating? I think I'll chance it. |

{rediscovery} We have been pulling out the baby gear for Caroline's upcoming arrival. Kate loves her old lambie chair! Let's hope she shares with her little sister. And just to stroll down memory lane, here's a picture of Kate, less than one month old, using her chair as the manufacturer recommended...

| {wardrobe malfunction} We've had a couple of dreary, sprinkly days around here, so I thought some rain boot pictures would be cute. Problem is that these are so huge on Kate's tiny feet that she can't walk in them. So much for my photographic "vision." But hey, this gives me a laugh, so I'll take it!

| {at play} Three things: 1. Kate loves to put things on her head or around her neck. (Note how she's proudly wearing the lunch bag like an accessory.) 2. She thinks it's fun to stand or sit on the cookie sheet that her magnetic letters go on. 3. It was a lazy PJs day for this girl. Aren't those great days? |

| {finch park} Gram, Kate, and I drove through Finch Park today near my parents' house. I loved this little "cove" with beautiful, mature trees, honeysuckle, and something like little dandelion puffs floating in the air. It was so dreamy! Even though it was starting to thunder, we hopped out of the car and snapped a few pictures. Kate's used to it; no objections on her part! |
